Marius Förster first studied Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He began his Master’s studies at the Zurich University of the Arts in Transdisciplinarity and then continued at the Braunschweig University of Fine Arts in Transformation Design. He is involved in 3000 Peaks, a collaborative project speculating about the climate catastrophe in Switzerland and RIBL (Research Institute of Botanical Linguistics). In this context he co-organizes workshops, e.g. at the design conference ATTENDING [TO] FUTURES, which took place at the Cologne International School of Design in 2021. He is co-editor of “Un/Certain Futures – Rollen des Designs in gesellschaftlichen Transformationsprozessen”, published by transcript.

Robert Preusse studied Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts with a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation, in the classes “New Media” and “Visual Systems”. After being involved with the self-organized workshop format “Parallel School”, he studied at the Centre for Research Architecture at Goldsmiths, University of London. He has been designing in activist contexts, for example for Investigative Commons on the terrorist attacks in Hanau or Forensic Oceanography on the deadly border regime in the Mediterranean Sea. His graphic timelines for Forensic Architecture have been shown in exhibitions around the world.

Stefanie Rau studied Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts. With a scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) she completed her Master’s degree at the Critical Studies Department of the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. There she developed a text-based artistic practice alongside her design work, which she presented in various international contexts such as exhibitions and conferences. Between 2013 and 2021 she worked as part of the graphic design team of the queer-feminist Missy Magazine. Since 2019 she is a lecturer at the weißensee school of art and design in Berlin and has been invited for workshops at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art Halle and FHNW University of Art and Design Basel.
